The tenth edition of GeoTHERM, Europe’s biggest meeting place for geothermal energy, took place on 25 and 26 February 2016 at Offenburg, Germany. The event was attended by more than 3.500 visitors from 44 nations and 180 exhibitors benefited from the concentrated expertise to prepare and settle business transaction. The congress programme gathered national and international focus points of the deep and shallow geothermal energy in over 30 lectures. EFG President Vitor Correia delivered at this occasion a key note speech about the importance of geothermal energy as a clean energy source in the future.
